Fuel pump is one of the basic components of the fuel injection system of the EFI vehicle. It is located inside the fuel tank of the vehicle. The fuel pump works when starting and running the engine. If the engine is stopped and the ignition switch is still ON, the HFM-SFI control module shuts down the fuel pump. Power to avoid accidental ignition.
The function of the fuel pump is to suck the fuel from the fuel tank, pressurize it and then deliver it to the fuel supply pipe, and cooperate with the fuel pressure regulator to establish a certain fuel pressure.
